Shelene Shrewsbury, Executive Director

Shelene is the mother of two amazing children. She and her husband, Matt, have a sincere appreciation for their community and are working to build a legacy for future generations through the service they provide to the Mid-Ohio Valley.

Shelene graduated with Honors from Parkersburg South High School and has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Accounting and a minor in Marketing.

Shelene has been employed with Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Mid-Ohio Valley (CCCS) since September 2003. She has worked in many capacities for the organization, including , Creditor Representative, Financial Counselor, and HUD certified Reverse Mortgage Counselor. As the current Executive Director of CCCS, she also maintains her certification as a HUD Housing Counselor.

Shelene serves on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of the Mid-Ohio Valley along with various committees within the organization. Additionally, she serves on the Supervisory Committee for West Virginia Central Federal Credit Union and the Board of Directors for  Workforce Development and Adams Apartment through Westbrook Health Services.

Shelene stands firm in her faith in Christ, has a passion for healthy living, and enjoys helping others realize their leadership potential. She takes great pride in seeing the success of individuals and families who have been touched by the steadfast work of CCCS and feels called to continue her career with this vital community organization.
